Anyway, I've been seeing an uptick in meme-formatted posts (not in any one place but in all places on the social medias) that say "growing up is realizing ...." followed by the absolute worst "literary analysis" takes I've ever seen in my life, and honestly, I think we're too far gone as a society to even try to combat (let alone conquer) illiteracy and utter lack of critical thought.
