Nobi doesn't stand out in the first part because she's HUMAN!! She's an immortal HUMAN. She fits in with people and looks normal. Her design is plain and simple looking like a normal human and in part 2 she is surrounded by aliens and THATS WHEN SHE STANDS OUT! And also part 3 she is still surrounded by aliens

even though in tevinter nights they basically say skyhold is abandoned, I fully retcon that for my lavellan, after everything in trespasser and how skyhold is mostly vacant as the companions/advisors moved out, she stays in skyhold and practically made it her home

even despite her being alone, varric, cole and cullen visit her and josephine sends letters to her - she stays due to memories but also because skyhold is where the veil is strongest so she can search the fade for solas </3

so she paints, wanders around, reads and tends to the garden & mounts along with sitting in solas quarters and staring at the mural :((
