Random tidbit about my Once Upon a Christmas (advent calendar-ish) project

In a couple of days, it'll start to be a little bit more coherent and connected, but since it was plotted and written under almost nanowrimo-esque time pressure (lol still have to finish writing day 19 onwards deer gawd), there're gonna be some parts that're hugely choppy, but I hope it still turns out okay-ish.

There are though a few scenes that I had to cut out (for various reasons, some for being kinda dark, others for not fitting in enough, others just because i ran out of days), a few of them include

a scene between Ruby and Mulan about how they managed to score their "happily ever after" in Storybrooke with Belle and Aurora, when they never had a chance in FTL (and it also brings up the Ariel Lucas-French idea a bit as well) (and it sorta would've dabbled in the True Love pre-destined fate thing that the show runs on)

Mulan's pre-Belle and pre-Philip FTL backstory, featuring a female Shang (this one i feel really bad about cutting out and really don't wanna let go of yet)

Regina text-ranting to Emma about her shopping trip with Mulan and Belle

Emma coming home drunk to get scolded by Regina (which was supposed to be a continuation of (SPOILER ALERT LOL) Day 8's piece)

So like idk, if you guys would still be interested in seeing a few of these pieces, I think I can try to write and/or draw them out after I'm done with all 25 days. Lemme know which in particular you'd wanna see most?

Updates (coz lol I'm finally not drunk on sleep deprivation and am ready to post something coherent)

Haunted

Sorry, I started getting busy and kind of stuck again, but I'm trying to squeeze in writing time in between several other projects. I'd say I'm maybe 30%-ish done with the next chapter

Also lol ever since the Ariel thing came up, I've been also trying to decide whether or not I can find ways to work that into this fic in the future

Once Upon a Teen Wolf

Spent most of the past week working on expression sheets

Talked with Erminia (who voices Swan Queen) about the animatics and there're some shots to revise and tweak and I'm almost done with drawing those

I'm also waiting for recordings of some new lines from her because sarcastic teenage Emma is getting a bit more dialogue now, heheh

Received some re-recorded lines from Bronwyn (Belle) as well, so I'll be editing those in once I've gotten the clips from Erminia, Cam (Ruby) and Josh (David/Moe)

Once Upon a Christmas

I'm planning something for Christmas and it's going to be a hopelessly ambitious project that I'm having doubts about because it's gonna take some dedication and time, but I feel pretty strongly about it and wanna give it a go

It'll involve the Trifecta + Ariel the Magical Red Beauty Baby

It'll be Christmas (and the several days prior) in Storybrooke

It'll involve several scenes and several flashbacks so it's going to be long-ish

That's all I'll say about it for now because lol I might jinx it but if anyone's curious enough, maybe message me and I'll pitch the idea and ask for your opinion lol

Miscellaneous (or should I say MEscelaneous lol) (haha sorry)

I'm starting to get kind of busy with work because we have to meet a deadline by December coz the project we're working on is gonna be shown during a Christmas party, and there're some scenes that I'm still stuck at, so I'll also be busy with that for a while and lol I'm srsly gonna have to work on my time management skills and my to-do lists

(and our halfway-deadline is tomorrow and I think I've made enough to meet it but I need to work on more before my flight if I can lol)

I also have a flight on Tuesday (and oops not done packing) to Animahenasyon, which is this Philippine Animation Festival and my group's thesis short is a finalist. It's gonna be four days long, and there'll be some interesting seminars and screenings and then also several schools and companies are gonna have booths set up there, so lol better get my business cards ready and also start looking at what my options are. Then family bonding over the weekend before we fly back home to our city.

(so lol basically this week is gonna be hectic for me and I really hope I can still be productive and churn things out despite it all)
