Rats will forever be one of the coolest rabbit characters out there. Speaking of which, I'm actually not particularly excited about the new Peter Rabbit movie. It looks like a lot of work was done on the graphics, but not so much on an original plot/writing. Maybe it'll surprise me, but meh... Garrus Sculpture: The Pelvic Structure Begins

So I’m working from a mixture of concept art pieces for this structure, plus my own ideas [based on realistic biology]. Those groin plates will be clearly visible once I have them in place. Just rolling with the musculature beneath first. He seems pretty happy with it... lol

Garrus Sculpture: More Hand Details

Tinkering with hand positioning and more detail. I’ll be posting shots of the beginnings of his head soon. After all, the hands are the key to face/head proportions.

Garrus Sculpture: Thigh Structure

So I thought I’d show a little of what actually goes into building those muscles with this part. Since his pelvis and hip joints are so much different than ours, I’m working the biology right out the window... lol. Each muscle starts out as a rope of clay. Note that his thighs will appear quite a bit longer than they should in this and the next serious of images. This is because he actually does not have a crotch yet... poor guy.

We’ll see how this goes. I’ll set up a size reference in the next series of images. This sculpture is bigger than I originally intended.... cocky turian... Gotta love him.
