Okay time to ramble about Tangled the Series and make no sense-
So like...I'm like most of the fandom and Varian is my favorite character. I love him so much and...idk whatever.
One thing we all have to remember is that VARIAN IS NOT COMPLETELY INNOCENT!
He drugged an entire kingdom, stole from the King, sent a mURDERBEAST into the kingdom, kidnapped the Queen, threatened Rapunzel's life, and ALMOST CRUSHED A LOT OF PEOPLE!
He is a criminal. And yes, I do agree his redemption could've been handle better but that's beside the point rn-
I have no idea what I'm trying to say but like... Cassandra and Varian have both committed horrible crimes and while I'm open to their redemption, we can't just forgive them completely.
I love the acknowledgment of Varian's past in Be Very Afraid (while it may be up to debate whether the scene actually happened, I believe the citizens of Corona are probably very...iffy about Ex-Convict running around the kingdom-))
But also like...idk. I'm not saying that we need to hate Varian, just don't say he's literal babey who could do nothing wrong. Because y'know...ex-convict.
(If I ever say something along those lines it's because I'm joking-))
BUT ANYWAYS SINCE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT IMMA REGURGITATE ANOTHER OPINION-
Quirin is very underutilized-
We have no idea how he feels about Varian's actions and I'm praying to god there was actually something on that note because jesus we've been teased with that ever since Quirin got trapped in the amber and-
