why would u say they-cat and not just cat
tldr;i think it fits in better with the formatting for leaders and kits (because they each have she-cat/tom in front of them in the generator) and i have an affection for it as a funny term adopted by the fandom.
when talking about gender nonconforming cats in the warrior cats universe, i usually always just say "cat", but since "tom" and "she-cat/kit" are rarely used in the generator except for leaders and kits and their pronouns are just used to indicate their gender, i thought i'd have a little fun and put they-cat/kit just to follow along with the format of putting she-cat/tom.
you're correct in that it doesn't really make a difference, but since leaders and kits in the generator both get their respective male or female label, i was just like eh why not. i did think about removing it but it's grown on me as a silly fandom term and it does fit in with the overall formatting.
