HEY!
So I uploaded a new video today and it's all about rude people.
And here is the new video. Please be kind, I am aware I'm not the next 'Adele' or 'Beyonce'. I cut a lot out of my set due to nerves.
Ever encountered some interesting scenarios on a train? Here are a couple of tales from my travels.
Bread rolls... in the UK there's many names for it. Where i'm from it can be called three different things. BUT WHY ARE THERE SO MANY NAMES?
Generation Of Selfies
Today I saw a 'selfie' of some people I used to know which I personally found extremely disrespectful, and so I wrote a poem...
Since the day of cameras on mobiles,
the age of 'selfies' were born,
It started as an alright thing,
Photographs that can't be torn.
Showing your best assets,
filters making your best even better,
showing the world who you are,
and your new primark sweater.
But recently it's come to my attention,
this craze has gotten out of hand,
The locations of selfies being taken,
the world doesn't quite understand.
Selfies in the toilet, selfies that are inappropriate,
Selfies for acceptance, 'hey guys, should I shave?'.
Selifes in memorials, selfies in funerals,
selfies by your deceased friends grave.
What is this warped generation we live in,
where we're insensitive to the location we're at.
Selfies at a memorial, a grave, are you crazy?
This has to be changed. Stat.
We've caught country leaders Cameron and Obama,
Joining the selfie craze,
But the location of their selfie shocked me indeed,
I was genuinely amazed.
It was at Mandela's memorial,
A great leader who recently passed,
So while people were mourning beside them,
They thought 'ooh let's take one without the flash'.
It's ok to take photos, heck I take many,
of my face that is round and flawed,
But I'm not taking photos of my dead friend's resting place,
For your disrespect, we will not applaud.
As for the leader of my country, how dare you,
You're meant to be an example to all,
Let this be a lesson to those who take selfies,
Be respectful, don't cause a brawl.
It's ok to take a photo of yourself, but be aware of your surroundings.
YouTube has one billion users visiting the site each month and six billion hours of content uploaded each month. But behind the viral videos and 'YouTube fame' is a community barely anyone outside of the YouTube circles knows about. In this documentary, we open the doors to the world of community and gatherings and introduce you to some interesting people inside of that world.
I hope you enjoy this documentary I've made. It would mean a lot if you should reblog this. <3
We The Community
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jGAg5tzgqU&feature=youtu.be&aATTENTION EVERYONE ESPECIALLY NON-YOUTUBERS people get really confused about what I do when i'm travelling around the country and meeting strangers from the internet but I feel like this documentary my absolutely fabulous friend Rebecca Brierley AKA RandomRebicon on youtube directed explains everything beautifully and if nothing else it's a very well made video
My 2013 in a nutshell.
