Did you know fan-art is #copyright #infringement? This #FreedomFriday I decided to do #Freehand #sketch of a bookmark project on a #RandomReceipt I chose one of my favorite books, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll because the story is great and it's copyright has ended which means it's now in the Public Domain BUT The Disney movies based off the books are still protected by copyright law. As artists we should learn to respect copyright laws and intellectual properties of others

Each person perceives what we are differently. I've already posted Camille's hydra-monster. This innocent positive view is from nine-year old Janine who thinks we're different stars in the same constellation, each shining bright on its own merits. This view preserves each persona's individuality while still binding us all by making us part of something bigger than what we are... Bigger than what most people view us to be . PS: no, I'm NOT DIAGNOSED. still saving up for a psych evaluation but money's hard to come by. So I don't say I have a mental disorder. I just have multiple personalities. . A quick commission piece for @genesiamariz ! Only 50php ($1) for a digital file. BAKIT ANG MURA? (Why so cheap?) Before, I explain let me say: NO, I'm not belittling nor undervaluing art or the time it takes to create it. THERE are reasons for this which will be listed. 1. It's just a doodle-sketch. Literally wasn't going back and forth with the client to edit, add or change the design. There wasn't even a size specification. Sketching took me around 5mins. The whole (stress-free and not creatively restrained) piece took no less than an hour with very little thought or consideration. This was as second nature as breathing. 2. MATERIALS. I used regular mechanical pencil that was a gift. The paper? Is a receipt from SM San Lazaro. The pen is a gift - ballpoint souvenir from Australia. 3. Tools. Don't have a scanner but I have the free clear scanner app on my less than Php2k Chronos Ace Plus. This was good enough for client. I don't have adobe or other pro-software. I use the free MSPaint and Publisher that's already in my computer for editing scans. THIS IS CHEAP ART where time is the only thing I used up and not even much of it. Cheap doesn't mean ugly... BUT it does mean less work was put in. It means materials used are sub par. If anyone would want this piece alone, I'd say the #RandomReceipt would tear, the ink is not fade proof and there's an additional shipping fee. XD I see clients, who love my cheap art, more as patrons than clients. They fully trust me to create something from random stuff (they really don't specify anything "just a couple" "just Christmas themed" "just a cute face") so I have free rein.
