Not on whether they happend or not, but i think kevin would still have to address the other stories, like Rapp, and explain why he went into rehab, and better address his coming out startement, and his Christmas video, as well address what his brother has said about him.
My question to you would be why would he “have” to address any of it?
He’s already addressed the Rapp story. He didn’t remember the incident when he addressed on twitter, and he still doesn’t remember it - according to information shared with me a few months ago. Regardless, he stated “but if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I’m sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years.” What more can he say? It’s a story that has only one author.
Regarding why he went into rehab, he stated that he wanted to deal with this “honestly and openly, and that starts by examining my own behavior.” The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
What about his coming out statement should he better address? Other than the timing. But I can promise you he wasn’t trying to conflate Rapp’s age with his sexuality, as so many people were desperate to imply. But yeah, maybe he would come out differently if he could go back in time? But we can’t go back…
The Christmas video will explain itself.
He’s been estranged from his brother for years, so I’m not sure the awful things Randy said about him would encourage a dialogue - other than perhaps his brother wasn’t the only one to suffer trauma. But that’s family business, you know?
If Kevin wants to tell his story, he will.
