What are your favorite crossovers with Percy Jackson outside of the riordanverse ? (And your favorite tropes in those crossovers ?)
Hmm, I don't read a huge number of crossovers outside of the Riordan verse, but I have read a few.
I like the idea of the Avengers crossovers, those are fun. Most are super angsty though and I wouldn't mind some more lighthearted ones.
I like where Percy is just thought to be a meta, or when Loki and Thor just hugely respect him, or Loki and him just getting along great. I like the ones where they have to chase Percy around cause he's just that skilled too.
I've read some Harry Potter crossovers, those can be fun but most are written kinda flippantly.
I love Percy being a Slytherin (he just is), I like him being Voldemorts grandson cause it's just "of course both my grandfather's are evil *sigh*", I don't mind the ones where he goes in later to help out but they're not my favorite.
Fablehaven crossovers (I know small fandom) are fun, though there aren't many. I wouldn't mind Percy growing up at one of the preserves, or him helping in the fights, or him being called in as one of the teachers in book 2.
Hmm, I have some crossover ideas I wouldn't mind reading but I haven't seen.
Rangers Apprentice (though that would have to be a "I accidentally traveled dimensions" or a "I was reborn as Percy/Will (the main character of Rangers Apprentice) would be super cool. It has just enough magic elements to be fun, and just few enough to make Percy wonder.
It probably exists but I've only seen one so Fairy Tail crossover. Percy in the Fairy Tail world especially, which would probably require some magic travel again. Percy's water control would be super cool there! And any of them in the Percy Jackson world would be so fun!
The Summoner series would be cool (another small fandom). The demons in it are super fun and I think Percy would have cool powers there just with his demigod powers but he'd also just have fun all around (ignore the war happening there) and I think that would be super cool.
Finally, the Eragon series. I swear there has to be a crossover of this somewhere cause Eragon is actually fairly popular but I haven't found one yet. Just, Percy with a dragon, Eragon reborn as Percy, Percy just having a Dragon (I like the dragons) plus the magic is fun.
