the D,isneyfication of Dr who is real and alive.

i have so many thoughts about this ep and many of them are not charitable ones LMAO. the way this could've been mistaken as the 43785438753874 marvel movie rather than an episode of doctor who is so laughable to me. also, the idea that sutekh kept 15 and ruby around bc he was fixated on the mystery of ruby's mother? what?? even ??? and then the reveal of ruby's mother just being, some rando? felt so lacklustre and ill-fitting. what was the snow about? why was the maestro so terrified of the music in ruby's heart or whatever? And another let down was the way in which the doctor defeated sutekh. If it was that easy than why does pyramid of Mars have four fucking parts at the end of which The Doctor escapes by the skin of his teeth and still DOESNT manage to finish off Sutekh? this tradition of nuwho showrunners thinking they're so much cleverer than classic who writers is so infuriating bc not once do they prove that to be true.

i hated it thanks.
