Harrison did start off talking to Rani based purely on thinking she was attractive and potentially (definitely) just wanting to sleep with her.
Ummmm but then he got soft bc rani is a sweetheart?
He acts like a slightly different person around Rani. It’s not really an act, it’s just a side of himself that he’s never really felt like sharing with anyone else.
He probably would kill for her.
He’s nervous about one of her friends finding out dirt on him and thinking he’s using Rani for some malicious reason because he’s not. He does actually care for her (even if that’s something he’s struggling to admit)
He doesn’t tell people about her. Not because he’s embarrassed or doesn’t want them seeing him as having a weakness, but because he doesn’t want the wrong people finding out and attempting to use her against him; he doesn’t want her to get hurt or in trouble because of him.
Whenever she opens up more about herself to him, he feels comfortable with sharing more with her. He’s cautious though. He doesn’t want to accidentally let one of his darker parts slip.
Though he’s always struggled with his anger issues, he’s yet to feel like he’s going to get overheated around Rani. It’s almost like she settles him a bit.
