PvP Surrender or Lose

So is there a reason people keep surrendering on their losing turn? No hate or anything just wanna knew if it’s something I should be doing as well like it’s some PvP etiquette I didn’t know about. It could just be personal preference but like I’m bronze 2 and every win has been from surrender except 1.
