Rei was rather proud that he’d been able to stretch his savings so well. Apparently he got a small stipend to live on, but was old enough that he was expected to get a job. Rei couldn’t exactly complain about that--he had so much on his mind that the distraction of work would be a blessing.  Displaying two articles of clothing on hangers, he hopes he isn’t too forward in asking a stranger her thoughts. Women were usually very helpful when it came to second opinions for this kind of thing, and Rei’s thoughts had been so muddled upon waking up here that he didn’t want to risk embarrassing himself with bad taste. 

“Pardon me, ma’am. Could I bother you with a question? I can’t quite decide--” He lifts each up, turning them so she could get a good view of all angles.

His head whipped about quickly, as though trying to find a spot to hide. She was gonna do nothing but cause trouble for him. Especially with what she was wearing. Shit...! He turned quickly, ready to shunpo away but, overestimating the strength of the turn of his body, fell face first into the sand, forehead slamming directly into a shell. He instantly curled into the fetal position and grasped his forehead.
