Hm
The little thing I'm currently wondering about is how people compare Ellen and Ragatha.
Cause okay, both females, and showing kindness towards everyone.
But in Ragatha's case, there's often a lack of sincerity. She is worried about how she is seen. She seems to have kindness, but not the understanding of it.
Regarding Ellen... For starters, we know very little about her. Partially due to the length of the story, and partially because Ted isn't as rational as he claims to be. She is shown to be empathetic, but with choosing to be kind even if it meant not being /liked/. She doesn't care if she is getting kicked, she wants to help.
So my conclusion would be that she wishes to be empathetic for the sake of others, she does have a bit of a deeper understanding of empathy, outside of how she is perceived.
A contrast:
Ragatha was shown to choose her own comfort of not wanting to team up with Jax.
Ellen was shown to sacrifice herself even more for Ted, in attempts to... Well, "cheer him up" as I heard somewhere.
They both do self sacrifice in attempts to help other people.
I am not saying that Ragatha only cares about how she is being seen, no. However she is shown to be more insincere and self-preserving, in contrast.
Her and Ellen are briefly similar, both embodying "kindness for everyone", but in different ways. Partially overlapping, but for what we know, far from the same
