Men are fucking awesome btw and I'm tired of pretending they're not
I think what the current wave of feminism fails to understand is that men are not inherently evil. There are certainly terrible men as there are terrible women. However they are not evil. Shit, it's how you end up with young men going down nihilistic paths. These people are asking me to hate my neighbor, my coworker, my father and more simply on how they were born and not how they act? It genuinely does not make sense lol
This is one thing feminism in general has been refusing to let go of for years.
Hated it back then, still hate it now. Men aren't evil and women aren't perfect angels who can do no wrong. We're all human, that's kinda our thing.
Something that frightens me a lot these days is that women largely do not understand that not only are men generally stronger than them, they are significantly stronger than them. Even if they're not particularly fit, even if they don't really work out. It's just the default setting.
Hi, I am also a woman, and I am counting myself in this group until recently. You might have heard me talk about this before, but I'm talking about it again cause I believe far too many women like me still do not fully grasp this. I'll keep talking about it, because it frightens me to see how many ladies out there in the world do not actually understand that if they got into a physical altercation with a random man on the street who really intended to harm them, unless they had some form of actual self defence, that's simply not a fight that they win.
Now - unless you're among a certain daft minority out there - you probably vaguely already know that men as a group tend to be naturally stronger, tougher, bigger, they have denser bones, more muscle mass, etc. That's just human gender dimorphism, we already know this. That's not what this post is about.
The specific detail that I think is not properly understood by too many women is the size of this difference between us.
Unless, like me, you've already tested this out somehow, I promise the difference is much larger than you think it is. If you've ever playfight-ed with a dude (say your boyfriend or a brother etc), you can almost guarantee that they were always holding back.
You can test this. If there's a trustworthy fella in your life, you can try asking them to resist as much as possible as you try to push against them as hard as you can, or ask them to physically restrain you, or something similar. You'll be surprised. I was. Using all the strength I had I wasn't able to budge my fluffy gamer boy bf. I know that man doesn't lift. (No hate, love you lad) Imagine if he did?
Anyways, just something that's been rattling around in my head lately. It's sort of frightening to realise the depth of the disadvantage you have as a lone female just walking down the street late at night, to think back on all the times you "kept an eye on" a shady looking drunkard and realise that no amount of watching them would have changed the outcome if they became aggressive. And then thinking on just how may women around you have the same misunderstanding of their standing in similar situations?
(Thanks feminism!! For convincing millions of women that we are functionally the same as men.)
...Totally unrelated thought, damn, if I was American I'd love an open carry licence
There is no "coexisting" with a religion that is fundamentally based upon absolute conquest above all, and at all costs.
So, today I saw a post on here from one of the many many people I'd unfollowed or blocked on twitter this week due to their disgusting comments over the past few days regarding recent events.
In this post, they lamented that they made the mistake of "having an opinion on twitter", and commented that the backlash "reminded" them that "conservatives want people like me dead".
I thought, gee, given the circumstances (you celebrating the political assassination of a conservative person), that's kind of an odd thing to say.
But reading this, something clicked for me.
You know that weird trend of how some of the loudest progressives tend to just be terrible people projecting their own thoughts and actions onto others? Like how frequently vocal male feminists trashing men as being sex pests end up being proven to be horrific sex pests themselves? The way it suddenly makes so much sense that they were so confident in stating that "all men are like this", because, as it turns out, that's the way they themselves always were?
What if this has been the same thing?
For years and years we've heard a hysterical chant from the left, always "you want me dead", "you don't think I should exist", "the right want to kill us", "the conservatives want to murder us", "Trump wants to literally genocide us", etc etc ad nauseam.
This was projection. All along it was projection.
They think we want them dead, because they want us dead, and are willing to loudly and proudly celebrate when we are killed. This is the reason why this "fear" has always seemed so irrational and extreme to us, but so natural and obvious to them. By their logic; that's what they want for their opponents... so why wouldn't it be what their opponents want for them, too?
Absolutely at a loss for words for what has happened today. And beyond, so beyond disgusted at the swathes of absolute lowlives across the internet who seem to think that a young man - a husband, a father - being murdered for saying things they disagree with is cause for celebration.
What the everloving fuck is wrong with people?
Charlie Kirk wasn't an evil dictator. He wasn't even a politician. He was just a man who offered to discuss social & political topics with people who disagreed with him.
He was just talking. And apparently that's enough to get you killed. This is the conclusion you arrive at when you spend years screaming that "words are violence".
I don't know how else to put it all into words.
I'll be praying for his wife and for his kids.
Hello friendo, i am the hug wizard, would you like a hug?
Hey hug wizard. Is the offer still good 6 years later? lmao
Real question, how do you avoid slipping into the black pill mindset because sometimes it's a real struggle.
It is hard, I feel you.
I try not to over-consume politics and news, cause while it's good to stay informed, it's not good for your brain to be constantly submerged in it. Take breaks from it, spend time with your family and your friends, engage in your hobbies, touch grass, all that.
Then personally, I take heart in how we seem to genuinely be at the turning of the tide. It's still very early days and there's still work to do, but I'm seeing more and more people get sick of the woke shit, consequences sneaking up on people who need them (such as the ongoing legal cases around doctors transitioning children) and the surge in younger people finding God.
Stay strong, these things take time, and it's been a fucking long time coming too, but I think for sure that things in the world are finally shifting.
