Opening on the 12th. I am SO EXCITED FOR THIS SHOW. Monika and have been talking and meeting for over a year, about Rape and Representation. She will be speaking at the symposium @browngirlcurator and I are organizing “Rape Representation and Radicality” on Feb 16, 2019. This show is going to be amazing. No matter how tired I am I will be at this opening! (I feel guilty for missing the opening of @graceexhibitionspace , but my energy was so low after kids first week of school.) I love to talk about rape. I teach classes in feminism and performance art and rape culture. I am sorry it took #Metoo to stop the silencing and so grateful that we as a country and a Culture are talking about violence against women. I want to help make sure the conversation is not just about white women. I have so much work to do in myself. A year of healing and there’s still more!
