What does love even mean tho?

When I think about love, you know like that REAL love, I think I mean how complicated does this need to be? I am logical thinker, an aquarius, an empathic listener, talented and spiritually developed.. I should be able to figure out this basic, 4 letter word.. This LOVE. I don’t need to overcomplicate every damn thing ever step of the way, every single day right? Nah. Nah, Queen. You a complex being with a genuine, multi-layered, ill-fitted heart on some tryna find my path and find woke and stay namaste and heal trauma type of turn up. Nothing is going to be simple with you. Step 1. Face that. Love that. Own that. Step 2. You are a catch. I know you don’t believe it but just fake it until you do. You got skills. You business. You are a unicorn. Say it with me in your head: I AM A UNICORN. (You ARE!) We each have a special thing that makes us unique to us that makes us shine like a bright star. Don't let this systemic oppression, the constant microaggressions, patriarchy, past trauma, trauma living in your body, your self-doubt OR fear of failure, tell you different. You are MAGIC. Anyone who gets even a glimpse of your spirit and heart aren't worthy unless you decide they are. This is SO your life to live, beautiful being. Try not to waste too much time trying to understand these simple 4 letters that have no answer because everything is always changing. Life is always changing. So you could live in that fear or be in a brave space and take risks, or just dump all that love back into the one who needs it most. You. And it’s a blessing to be you.

What I’m doing more of: • eating mindfully • meditating • working out regularly • taking each day in stride • appreciating my body and finding peace in my form • listening to guiding voices who help me understand God and Jesus better • soaking up the sunshine • getting outside as much as possible What I still need to work on improving: • slowing my quickness to anger (fire heart) • staying present and giving each moment quality attention • being less judgmental • curbing stress eating or eating out of boredom • self-doubt and deprecation • practicing hatha more often • discovering the love and energy inside me and radiating it outwards • finding peace amidst the chaos • finding a happy medium between trusting God but also leaning on my own gifts to help create transformative change • not expecting (all of) the world to care as much as I do, instead, going about what I feel is right and enjoying the blessing of solidarity and good community I find along the way // #followthesun #breatheinlove #breatheoutnegativity #lovethyself #appreciationpost #yoga #meditation #morelove #lesshate #radicallove #radicalselflove #radiate #peacefulwarrior #namaste #aloha #honoryourbody #honoryourmind #honoryourtemple
