Doesn't matter how powerful your squad is. Don't matter if you are armed up to the surgically grafted gills in plasma. Doesn't matter if you have a squad of Colonels. They will still need half your squad in Overwatch to just stop one charging. It is also the worst way to go.

Considering the method by which the Chryssalids reproduces "naturally" is by charging down on a human. Where upon it inserting eight 6"+ scalpel like blades into a victim's abdomen eviscerating the victim's internal organs and esophagus. Once it has done this the creature forces a lone hollow organ through the mouth, while the victim is both alive and conscious, which plants an egg that hatches in the blood and warmth of the human host's body. Temporally terms you don't even finishing bleeding out before the new Chryssalids hatches and begins to grow life size before it rips itself out of your chest to continue this cycle. Oh yea,it grafts itself to your spine and makes you dance like a meat puppet before it does so.
