Something to hide

The psychoanalytical theory of compensation states that the public persona is often balanced out by the private persona. Consequently, study shows that the more virtuous people try to present themselves in public, the more depraved their are in private.

So we can safely assume that amongst all males who try extremely hard to appear as “good allies” and “strong feminists”, a good many are probably really creepy, gropey and borderline rapey in their private lives.

That would also explain why certain male feminists gives off a very rapey vibe, like they assaulted and/or raped a girl in college, and since then they try really hard to build up a public image of a staunch feminist ally. They’re probably trying to protect themseves in case the girl ever decides to press charges.

Just remember: everybody’s go something to hide. Often it’s the opposite of how they try to appear.
