i hate to say it but i dont think rise donnie is a huge dinosaur fan. im not saying that he doesnt like them, but at best hes a casual enjoyer of dinosaurs.
my reasoning being that he thinks geology is boring. and yeah, if youve got no stakes in it then it absolutely can be. as an avid dinosaur enjoyer myself, the more i learn about paleontology the more i learn about geology because they go hand in hand. its hard to learn more about dinosaurs if you never take the time to learn about the types of rocks theyre found in. doing so can tell you things about the dinosaurs. theres one area in romania that used to be partially submerged and created an island where dinosaurs evolved a little differently and gave us species of dinosaurs like balaur bondoc that are raptors with two retractable claws per foot instead of the usual one. we would have never learned why they evolved differently if no one had taken the time to study the rocks in the area
so, dinosaur and geology fact tangent over. id love for one of the brothers to be big into dinosaurs and i think it would be really cute if it was raph. imagine him as a baby first becoming interested in them. his obsession starts because theyre big and different like him. over time he learns more and more about them and it just grows and snowballs. he tries talking about it to his brothers when theyre all tots, but the others dont get it (mostly bc theyre too young to cling onto an infodump with really big words that raph is struggling to pronounce). they just like the pictures and playing pretend that theyre dinosaurs. so he just continues learning in private. i think it would be funny for them to find out that he knows so much about dinosaurs one day bc they do not remember him being interested in paleontology, just dinosaurs themselves.
