My very first tcest fanfic I ever read was "Beloved Brother". ( Link Here )
I know that fanfic almost by heart, but re-reading it now, the ending just hurts me so much.
It feels both painful and pleasantly nostalgic at the same time.

raph doesn't really like bottoming for anyone, but for leo he would do it for a single deep kiss. he would do it just to feel leo's breath on his neck. he would do it faster than he could blink as long as leo gave him that look. whatever leo wants, raph gives him. whatever he wants. anyway it's my birthday

Leo did write Raph letters while they were separated. Splinter just never gave them to Raph. So Leo eventually stopped. And now I'm definitely thinking about that scene from the notebook movie but making it all Raph x Leo vibes post the movie:
Raph angry, but really more sad and hurt: Why didn't you write me? Why? It wasn't over for me, I waited for you, but you never wrote back. I had to wait two years to even see you again! And you act like it never happened!
Leo confused but telling the truth: I wrote you 365 letters. I wrote you everyday for a year. Your the one who never wrote back!
Raph surprised:You wrote me?
Leo determined and still in love: Yes... it wasn't over, it still isn't over.
Maybe they kiss.
Than the boys, mainly Leo, realize Splinter probably hid the letters, Leo goes to find them(and confronts Splinter). He comes back to Raph dumping a box filled with letters onto Raphs lap. Raph sees Leo has a bruise on his face.
@mizmomo I'm sure you're much taller than me, but I would guess you can relate to this otherwise. XD
