Rod Arsenault remains undefeated!!
On the 18th of June, 2016, Shooters Snooker Club in Toronto, ON hosted its “4-9” 9 Ball event #3. It was a very huge event as there were a total of 44 players registered. This was a warm Saturday, perfect for pool players to grab their cues and get out to shoot some pool. The hall then performed the Calcutta at 11:30 am and all the games began at 12 noon. After matches here and there, the update was as follows:
A Side Semi- Finals: Rod Arsenault vs Rob Hall
B Side Semi- Finals: Isaac Ramos vs Sumon Sarker
Midnight hit and the games were still on the flow. The A Side game was played at 2:00 am. Rod Arsenault defeated Rob Hall by a score of 8-4 and was now waiting on the hot seat. Sumon Sarker on the other hand defeated Isaac Ramos 8-3 and was now in a driving force to face Rob Hall who previously had sent him to the B Side. Sumon Sarker took his sweet revenge on Rob Hall by defeating him 8-4 and was now ready to face the A Side Finalist, Rod Arsenault.
It was already 4:30 in the morning as Sumon Sarker faced Rod. It was Rod Arsenault who completely stayed calm despite the fact that both players were EXTREMELY tired. Rod then defeated Sumon by a score of 8-2 to claim the first position in this event #3. Congratulations to all the winners and players of this event.
