Raphi’s Dorm || Liberty Hall

Of course, Raphi’s dorm is as bright and colorful as she is. She drew inspiration from cultures around the world, a little reminder that she is free to go wherever she chooses. Cork boards and canvases cover the walls, just waiting for ideas to be pinned onto them. Raphi’s room is open to all, especially for Friday night movie parties. She’s very proud of how it turned out, and is excited to share it with her best friend.

♘: Cuddling in a blanket fort (Raphella): It was their best idea yet. A few staple guns and comforters later, Raphi and Ella had transformed their entire dorm (sans kitchenette) into a tent of pink, purple, and blue. The floor was dotted with throw pillows and DVD cases, the walls and ceiling completely covered by blankets. As long as neither headmistress came in, they were in for the time of their lives. “Pass me the pizza rolls” was the most common phrase exchanged by the girls, and the sweet aroma of chocolate chip cookies that threatened to catch their fort on fire faded through the blankets, warming their senses as well as the room. By the end of the night, Ella ended up curled around Raphi, both of them sound asleep, the lights still on and the DVD menu of The Little Mermaid replaying Part of Your World until Raphi finally realized it was still playing at 3 a.m. and decided it was best if they just turned it off.

What if Ella never helped Raphi on her first day?

They’d meet when they became roommates, a luck-of-the-random-generator chance pair-up in their second semester of their senior year. They would’ve instantly clicked, and Raphi would tell her of all the wrong classes she went to in her first week as they scarfed down some pizza rolls and decorated their new dorm. There was no way the two of them wouldn’t meet, fate would have to have worked it’s magic somehow. Raphi would probably have been closer to Wendy for the beginning of the semester, as they were roommates before, but eventually Raphella would start their journey towards their inseparable bond.
