lotus - gift giving (durrr). she brings like everything she can think of that could possibly help leonardo feel better. things like food, movies, medicine, blankets, etc. lotus doesn’t rlly have experience taking care of someone else like this, but she’s really trying. it’s generally easy for her to focus on things she can use rather than try to use comfort and affection, but she does try some of that too with leonardo. she’s also a bit stubborn about receiving help from april or the other turtles since this is something she wants to prove she can do. she wants to be able to say that she can help leonardo.

genghis - words of affirmation. lets raphael feel .. *affirmed* that he’s funny and still super cool while he’s sick lmao. maybe it’s a bit too much for raphael’s ego, but genghis doesn’t care. he knows raphael wants to be liked and is willing to reassure him he is. genghis is a sweet, gentle person anyway, so i wouldn’t be surprised if this is just,, how he treats raphael normally anyway.

tbh genghis reminds me a lot of leonardo in this way. they just love building up their loved ones

mona - quality time. hangs out with raphael and makes him laugh while he’s too eepy to do anything. sometimes she doesn’t even have to do anything she just holds his hand while he rests and she just reads a book or something. at first glance some people assume she’s not doing anything to help him but she genuinely lifts raphael’s spirits and ofc laughter is the best medicine anyways.

kala - physical affection. she doesn’t care if she gets sick, she will hug michelangelo the entire time she’s there. i kinda see her and michelangelo as the type of couple to constantly be hugging or holding hands in some way (pda couple smh…). and yeah kala kinda babies him and cradles him to sleep fjdjdj. “poor baby” n all that.

jhanna - acts of service. she makes sure donatello’s room is nice and clean and makes sure he’s fed and all that. jhanna is used to taking care of what needs to be done especially bc that’s her daily life anyway as queen. but taking care of only one person who she’s close to is a nice change of pace. and donatello tries to do things himself if he can help it (mostly bc he feels bad that she’s working so hard gjdjfj). sometimes donatello has to beg her to sit down when he feels like everything is already taken care of bc over exertion isn’t good for her either and could make her sick too.
