Ramona Looore! (Bc you asked) 😊

Ramona Brown was the second and youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brown. Her parents were both raised very proper, made a decent salary, and were usually far too busy to spend much quality time with their daughters. Ramona’s fondest childhood memories were with her older sister, Lydia. Unlike their parents, Lydia always had a moment to spare for Ramona. Whether it was wrestling, playing video games, or sneaking out to cause a little late night mischief, the two were each other’s closest friends.

As they grew, Lydia became a very successful academic, to their parent’s great delight. Ramona however, wasn’t quite as ‘gifted’ and quickly became shunned and often shamed by her parents. She would constantly be compared to Lydia’s success, though Lydia adamantly fought against it. Ramona found herself staying out later and later over time just to avoid going home and facing another interrogation. She sometimes wandered into dangerous areas of New York and got mixed up with criminals or gangs. Whenever she needed help getting out of these situations, Lydia was right there - which only made their parent’s reactions worse.

One fateful day, a strange, green mosquito flew into Ramona’s bedroom window and found its mark in her leg while she slept next to her pet horned lizard. The next morning, she woke up a completely different creature with rough, scaly skin, sharp horns and teeth, and a long, sectioned tail. Lydia did all she could to help clam her down and hide her from their parents. They eventually decided to lie and say that she’d finally run away for good, though in reality Lydia snuck her food and supplies in secret. Their parents ranted endlessly about how worthless Ramona had been as a failed daughter and how running away for good was truly the only best outcome for their family. Though they showered Lydia in praise and sweet nothings, she had no love for their behavior.

This went on until the invasion when Lydia had the greatest misfortune of getting mauled by a kraang-hound while trying to escape New York with Ramona. Ramona was furious and heartbroken for a long time before she found the Hidden City of the yokai. There, she could walk around like a normal person, despite her non-human appearance. She finally got used to her body, different though it was, and that inspired her to study physical therapy at a yokai university. She even worked as a part-time cross country coach at a children’s school nearby.

Slowly but surely, Ramona found a place for herself in the Hidden City and could even see a future for her life - something she’d never had before. And then, on a particularly fateful run in the park, she met a big, spiky snapping turtle. He immediately reminded her so much of Lydia with his thoughtful eyes and kind smile, she couldn’t help but be pulled in. They eventually dated, fell in love, and got married; and Ramona’s sad little life has been all the fuller and happier ever since. 🤎

I wish some people would utilize the fact more that 2012 Mona is an wmphibian, not a reptile.

It is very rare to see people play around with amphibian traits for her, like for example her being possible poisonous (near all salamander are poisonous to some degree) or that she could be kinda slimy but Raph choosing to ignore this.

And a lot more of ideas which play into the animal she's based on.

I'm still have the headcanon that she has 100+ siblings and that her planet is very humid.

Small fun fact, Raph & Mona need some sort of ivf or fancy science thing for babies (aka Sims4 sciences baby shenanigans), Amphibian & reptiles are more distinct to one another than for example human & reptiles.

Just imagine a doctors face when a Turtle comes in yelling "Me and my wife want a baby, can you make us one..or two..or how many she wants."

Could be fun playing around with the idea of mutation somehow being modified enough that interspecies relationship can have a baby.
