Rhonda hadn’t even wanted to go into sports journalism but the first place that offered her a job was at a sports paper company (which happens to be owned by Maddie and Wally… and yes they employed their friends)
Quinn had been playing since they were really young (in secret, keeping it from their parents)
The two met when Rhonda had to take over for Wally on an article, and now Rhonda is the only person Quinn trusts for interviews.
Quinn is a goalie. Never liked playing out on the ice.
Charley is Rhonda’s cameraman and he will try to get the gayest looking photos he can. (Rhonda does not appreciate it) (Quinn does).
Yuri is their media manager who has to go to games with them to make sure nothing happens. The last time Charley and Rhonda were allowed out alone for an article nothing good came of it and there had to be a lot of fixing stuff on the media.
When Quinn knows in advanced that Rhonda is coming to a game they always try to get her little trinkets. Usually it doesn’t happen because Quinn doesn’t like checking their emails on game days.
For Quinn’s first Olympic Games, they refused to talk to anyone. The next games, Rhonda’s boss had to allow Rhonda to go with Quinn (because it would be bad for the whole media if Quinn said nothing at all again).
Rhonda hardly ever posts anything to social media other than her articles. Quinn has three accounts, a hockey account, private account and an anonymous Rhonda Stan account (Rhonda knows but never says anything.)
Sometimes some of the sneaky photos Charley gets end up online and people go wild.
