what sort of behaviors do you think our clowns got from their lusci that are just a teensy weensy bit... odd for a troll to be doing? like, I can see some resemblance being charming to trolls but what's like, odd even to trolls that they do?

Going down the list!

Chahut: Sleeps with one eye open. Legit. Also hates hail storms(ducklings are offed so often due to that and DuckMom instilled that fear in her)

Marvus: Tends to not chew when he can. He thinks it is more efficient and most people don't notice unless they're really watching him.

Karako: Lists things. Constantly. If he can, he will list things. Kind of how his brain woks because of how Bronya talks. Fast learner due to this.

Hotdog: Was taught how to juggle from SeaLionMom, and cannot sleep unless he is floating on top of something or someone.

Rapsta: SalamanderDad taught him how to catch bugs with his (longer than average) tongue. So when he's focusing or bored there is a chance he will flick his tongue around.

GHB, Gamzee and Kurloz are more likely to eat random crap because of their GoatDads. Bark, paper, and the occasional can (gamzee was extremely high ok?)

The Soleil Twins tend to hop before moving. Small hops before walking/running and hop away from anything that scares them.

Say there’s a ‘type of rainbow drinker’ of sorts that’s only purple-bloods(they have their own religion outside of The Mirthful Mesaiahs)they intergrade clown society/groups/etc because it’s the easiest way for them to go unseen by non-rainbow drinkers(plus purpleblooded trolls are a good food source for them). How would all of the clowns(gamzee, kurloz, ghb, marvus, chahut, the twins, hotdog clown and the other - forgot his name unfortunately 😅)react to finding out about this?

There have been these campfire stories about them since before GHB was born. But none of them have evn considered it was real. In order of Most Open to Least Open:

GHB: I mean, they could help with culling needs, but he isn't so dure about their beliefs.

Gamzee: Honestly thinks this may be a weirdly elaborate lie, but goes along with it, just in case. Lowkey thinks it would be cool to be one.

Kurloz: Ok with it as long as nobody touches him for a drink.

Hotdog: Could be brought to terms with it but does NOT want to be too close to any of them.

Marvus: The idea gives him the heebie-jeebies. He'll always seem chill, but will always have personnel near him when he has to meet with them. He does not need anyone getting weird with his blood.

Rapsta: Same as Marvus, but even more cautious and openly nervous at first.

Chahut: She views them as heretic mutants that should be culled. Not by her because she couldn't bring herself to cull a fellow purple.

Clownlets: They are all very much terrified by the ghost stories and this is a living nightmare to just know they're real.

Would any of the clowns be hype if reader was a theater major? They find out by reader mentioning in passing that they were in a couple plays in highschool and college but forgets to mention they were not an actor, but actually on the tech crew. XD

The clownlets, Zaydel and Rapsta would be very interested in hearing all about your acting skills.

Zaydel thinks that you meant something closer to his profession, Rapsta thinks you meant you acted on some reality shows for your area and the clownlets just think acting is neat.

Since the hiveswap clowns are so gift-y in nature, how do they feel and react when they really missed the mark on one? like if they bought earrings and their s/o is thankful and appreciates them, but they pull their hair back and... oh yeah their ears aren't pierced. or they buy them a hobby supply set only to discover their s/o has to do some convaluted stuff to get it to a working state because it's kinda crummy.

Would get lowkey salt and try to fix immediately:

Marvus - He has an ego to preserve and giving a bad gift threatens that heavily.

GHB - Same as Marvus. Have fun fighting him when he goes to replace it.

Kurloz - Doesn’t like the awkwardness that comes with giving a bad gift, and tries to make it up to you.

Would make note and then move on:

Chahut - She knows not everything will be a hit and moves on after apologizing.

Hotdog - He’d ask what was wrong with the gift and maybe make it up to you if possible. 

Rapsta - Honestly would give you his card to choose a make-up gift you would like.

Gamzee - Would also ask you what made it a bad gift, and then think of ways to make it up or fix it. But at his own pace.

Rapsta, Marvus, n GHB are out & about w/ their STEM career s/o when someone in their peripheries does a double take & starts waving & walking towards the two. they think it's a fan (or an excited devout in GHB's case) but when they approach they don't approach them- they approach s/o! they shake their hand & talk about their most recent research journal & actually ask if they'd sign their copy! s/o is tremendously flustered & does and they only get acknowledged after the fact! how are they doin?

Rapsta is in hysterics over the whole thing. That doesn't happen everyday and his S/O's faces during that entire exchange was hilarious. And he snuck pictures of how flustered you look. He doesn't care he wasn't acknowledged first until maybe later. Marvus is extremely surprised, but keep a cool mask on until they finally notice him. He's conflicted about it but not to a serious degree. It's nice to not be hounded, but it's also kind of a bad thing for him not be??? He opts to silently sulk and change the subject. GHB kinda always forgets who he is unless he is doing official duties. Like he's more in protecc matesprit mode to start, only to be reminded that he was kind of rude to a fellow purple, even if they understand exactly why he was like that. So he feels a little bad about that. He asks more about the specific journal you signed though, he doesn't remember it. You're also adorable when you start explaining it.
