Rapunzel walked out of the library and toward the hub in the center of town. As always it was cloudy, but she was having an excellent day nonetheless. She was so happy about her books. She loved reading. 

She picked a bench that was partially under a shady tree at the edge of the Hub and sat down. She sat the books beside her and picked up the top one and sat it on her lap. She took a breath of content and opened it. As she began reading someone approached her bench and she looked up. 

“Well hi there! Need some company? This bench is my favorite!”

Well, hello there

Rapunzel waited outside of the small cafe for him. She stood in her best purple dress. She was actually very nervous, what if he didn’t mean it as a date but she took it that way. Oh no, I feel so stupid, she thought. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves.

 “It’s okay,” she said quietly to herself. She stood straight and smiled, hoping he would be there soon.

Punzie was walking through the hub, enjoying a day to herself. She saw someone sitting on one of the benches that lined the path through the hub, and they were reading. I love books, wonder what that one is about, she thought. 

As she got closer, she saw that it was a book by one of her favorite authors, Morgan Rice. 

“Good book, huh,” she smiled at him, attempting to make friendly conversation on such a beautiful day.

Artsy, are you?

Rapunzel took a step back, and looked at the painting she was working on.

“Looks good!” she said quietly but happily to herself. She then walked back up to her easel and dabbed her brush into a bright pink on her palette. As she began to focus again, the door to the studio opened.

Rapunzel looked past her work toward the door, “Hello?” she said happily. She loved meeting new people, and showing them her art and she loved even more hen people come in to do art with her.
