He didn’t expect Olivia to go through with it, but it was all in good fun. Besides, maybe asking for a kiss would cause her to open up a little bit and stop being a jittery mess around others.

Though it came as a pleasant surprise to him when she finally leaned up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Once she pulled away, he would give her a wide smile. 

“That wasn’t so hard, right? And if you ask me, we’re on the fast track to becoming friends now, what say you, babe?”

Perhaps it was a little too much to hope for, though there was no harm in asking, right? And if it was too much to ask, he supposed he could always bake her a pie.

“But hey, if this is too much, we can take things a whole lot slower in the future. Besides, you seem like a sweet girl, so why not? I’d like to get to know you a bit more, if that’s alright with you.”

She chuckled softly. “It’s hard not to feel that way, with everyone all dressed up like this.” It was like nothing she’d ever seen before. Granted, most of her memories consisted of long marches and battlefields, but there was something almost...surreal about all this.

“Honestly, I almost feel like I don’t belong here,” she confessed, more to herself than anything else.

If by “fine” Olivia meant “nearly tripping over her own feet,” then yes, Robin supposed she was doing fine. It was nearly comical, how she could navigate a sparring match or a battlefield with ease, yet this dance seemed to completely escape her abilities.

Still, she had to admit she was having a bit of fun--it was nice seeing the dancer come out of her shell, if only just a bit, and it was also a nice change of pace to be trying something new. 

“Like this?” She attempted to copy her friend’s movements, each gesture still foreign to her.
