First art tablet. First time uploading a digital drawing onto my Tumblr. Was asked to draw a Darkrai gijinka. Turned out pretty well.

Can’t paint digitally at all. Still discovering new brushes and working out how colours work. Discovered that blur looks ugly when used for shading. Soft strokes of white for highlighting doesn't look good either. Going to focus on recreating different textures and how they affect shading.

Sketching is turning out alright but I absolutely can't line art at all. However, clean sketches work just as well as line art. Need to work on developing my ability to draw body shapes and a larger variety of poses.

Stiff and sweaty hands after drawing. Considering on wearing gloves but not too sure how to avoid stiff hands. Create believable hands and feet by not avoiding them.

Try to do better on making hair look better. Ribbons and fabric flow well, now to work on how wind and gravity would affect them.

Done absolutely no work on backgrounds, animals and other subjects. Try to give more context about my drawings with interactions they’d have and behaviour. Go forth and experiment with more facial expressions instead of just using :< and :3

Also, hi future me. You better have improved your illustrations by then.
