Console Servers also known as terminal servers, serial servers or device servers. Console Server provides network access to serial ports on network devices or industrial equipment. It enables to connect serial ports on legacy industrial devices such as PLCs. Also, it enables to remotely manage, monitor and troubleshoot network devices such as servers through their RS-232 console port.
