FEATURED ARTIST: Rashid Johnson (b. 1977) presented a solo show at SculptureCenter in 2009, Rashid Johnson: Smoke and Mirrors. His recent show, Rashid Johnson Stranger at Hauser & Wirth, Somerset employs a variety of mediums: painting, sculpture, installation, and drawing to explore themes of art history, literature, philosophy, and identity.
