Thick metal walls reflected the echo of his own footsteps, drowning him in his own noise. Step, step, breath. He could hear his pulse beating against his temples, and then... muffled voices behind a door. Screams. There were screams as quiet as a whisper. Rassilon wiped cold sweat off his forehead. He was there. He was alive. Omega was alive. Holding tight onto his blaster, he shot at the lock and opened the heavy door. There he was, his husband, in pain. Rassilon narrowed his eyes and growled.
He still tried to stay silent but the pain was unbearable. It felt as if each and every cell was burning and yet he couldn’t slip into coma - his torturers make sure he wouldn’t be able to escape. At the same time they kept the level of pain low enough so they wouldn’t break him either mentally or physically - he was a valuable asset and therefore he was supposed to remain as intact as it was possible. Pythia wanted to make a use of him and all they needed was convincing him to cooperate. And since he was unwilling...
