It’s like 2:30am so this is all I got for now. I might try to get better ones tomorrow later

I decided to really put thought in to how a few of my characters would feel about Teldrasil, so if anyone cares I’ll have the how and a bit of why underneath~
Doneth, Nightborne Rogue: SUPER not happy about all of this. After everything that happened in Surumar, and the fact that the alliance had just as much of a hand in saving it as the Horde did, it feels very deeply wrong to have set the world tree on fire and killing so many innocent people. Even if he thinks Tyrande is a bitch, mass killing civilians in intolerable
Riavorin, Night elf Mage: Absolutely devastated by the burning of Teldrasil and the loss of life. Fire has taken away a LOT of things in his life. His family and now Teldrasil, all gone. The only things really keeping him from throwing himself in to the Alliance military is his crippling depression, laziness, and his adopted son (Rast). He’s always been a fire mage ic, but I think after all the loss of life to fire he’s probably ready to give it up and become frost... not sure on that yet though.
Rastarian, Blood elf Paladin: HORRIFIED. He’s a healer who’s helped the Alliance many times before. He saved Ria many years ago, healed a few stray Alliance soldiers in Warlords, and offered his abilities to help save lives on the Broken Shore. He ran himself ragid in Legion to help both Alliance and Horde and can’t imagine why they’d be fighting now. He met enough Alliance to know they’re not terrible people.
Mirodis, High elf Death Knight: Absolutely pissed. Under the control of the lich king he killed a LOT of innocent people, he’s seen the Horde and Alliance work together so many times before, and just on a moral level he hates the Alliance vs Horde bullshit. He wants more for the Horde than this.
I know a lot of this is just me hating the Alliance vs Horde narrative personally, and I am happy to admit that. The only one of these characters who became a thing after the announcement of BFA was Doneth, so his is 100% just me being not okay with it. The other characters are around 3 years old by now and never liked the conflict to begin with, so it’s not me changing them with the new expansion.
By yours truly. Black body filled with black blood. Melanated being, floating to the clouds above... Get it here: http://mickdiartist.bigcartel.com
My paladin looks super fucking cute with his purple hammer and no one can tell me otherwise.
I was iffy about the idea of my paladin getting hurt during the invasions but now hat I've sat down and written out a scenario I am diggin it. He's gon get fucked up.
Kir’s take on meeting Rastarian
I had been sitting in my chair reading the same chapter of this Light-forsaken book for the past few minutes, the occasional clap of thunder pulling my attention to the open window. I should just close the damn thing so I can finish this book so I can go to bed. No, Ely might be coming through it at any minute needing food and dry clothes.
"Please! Help!" The shout wasn't Ely. This screaming was male and frantic. It sounded off again as I was standing up and walking to the window. The rain pelted at my head as I looked out the window. Below me was what seemed to be a male child and he appeared to be bleeding. I blinked a few times as I yelled out, not expecting the noise to be coming from him.
"What the fuck is that noise?" I can't believe those were my first words to who I would later come to know as Rastarian. He repeated his plea and I told him to come to the door. I went and opened the door and he scrambled in and frantically hid under a table near my chair. His feet were bleeding and he was only wearing shorts. Combine that with his malnourished physique and bruises spotting his entire body it was a cause for worry.
"What happened?" I asked him as I set down a cup of honey tea and a plate what was left from my dinner. He dodged most of my questions and offered to clean up the mess he made if he could stay the night. I wasn't about to send this poor man back out into the rain when he clearly needed help, so I naturally let him stay. I gave him a blanket to warm up with seeing as he probably wasn't going to be leaving the haven he created under his table.
We sat in an awkward silence as I finished my book. I stood and put the book way and turned back to the smaller man.
"You are more than welcome to anything. Sleep well." I retired to my room and heard him scramble from the table, possibly to get closer to the still going fire I left for him. That morning I found him cleaning and organizing my books and scrolls, it was quite impressive. I offered him a job and he took it. I don't regret opening my home to the man, I have taken quite the liking to him. I wonder if he feels comfortable here with me.
Adventure
—— The Starseekers stood together and looked at the now-vacant Dark Portal. It had been shut down from the inside months ago.
Mirodis looked down at his younger brother and spoke quietly. “Rastarian, are you sure you are ready for this?”
“Yes. I have to. There are people on the other side of the portal - good people - who are dieing. I have to help them.” Rast locked eyes with his brother, a determined look on his face. Mirodis placed a hand on the Paladin’s shoulder and pulled him close for a hug.
“I’m proud of you. You’ve come a long way since we met.” His voice voice was choking as if he was going to cry. Mirodis let Rastarian go and reached for the box he had brought with them to the Blasted Lands. With little effort he handed it to his brother.
“What is it, Mirodis?” Curiosity burned in his chartreuse eyes, making them brighter than Mirodis had ever seen before.
“Open it and find out. It’s a gift.”
Rast set the box down and lowered to his knees. His trademark impatience showed as he ripped the box open. A squeal of delight escaped his throat as he pulled a gold and red robe out and held it up to himself.
“I love it. And… Its my size!” Not one to waste time, Rastarian pulled his shirt off and slid into the robes. The sleeves were long, but didn’t cover his hands, and the hem touches the ground without tripping him.
“I figured you might need another set of armor to take with you,so your fancy purple one doesn’t get ruined.” A big smile stretched across Mirodis’ lips as he watched his brother pull the other pieces to the set out of the box and put them on. He was stunned when Rastarian nearly threw himself at the death knight for a hug.
“It’s perfect. I love you, Mirodis. You’re the best brother anyone could ever hope for.”
“I love you too, Rastarian. Make sure you come home safe, okay? Kirathus and I will be waiting for you.” ——
I got Rast to 90 and had a story idea. The armor Rastarian for was the Firelands vender set. Here’s a link to it:
