Rats of the Flea Market

I was raised by my grandmother, she was strong, charming, sarcastic, and "an ornery lesbian" (in her words). Whenever someone would ask how's she's doing she'd always say "angry, mean, and irritable, how about you?" With a big smile

I was a traumatized little kid and she saved me in a lot of ways

We'd go to the flea market and set up every weekend and I miss those days a lot

She passed away last March and I'll grieve her loss forever

This drawing is just a cute cartoon rat version of us, if you knew her you'd know it captures her energy perfectly

Distracted but I wanted to draw Holmes as a rat. Based on memories of how rats are supposed to look like. I grew up with rats as big as cats man.
