Goat slimes are one of the first a rancher usually encounters, as they’re hardy little fellas that can survive almost anywhere. They usually travel in groups of up to nine, and will even chase ranchers in a way of play.
Rat slimes are some of the smaller slimes, living in caverns and abandoned mines. They use their smaller size to flee from threats, such as Tarrs, but they can get stuck, leaving some ranchers to find them halfway through a stone wall with only their tail showing.
Dragon slimes are mischievous slimes, which take delight in startling other creatures with roars and bursts of sparks. This slime is sought after, not only for their hard to reach locations, but for their puppy-like mentality.
Many a rancher have gone to gather plants in a swamp, only for them to accidentally pick up a Drown slime. Drown slimes have the ability to practically liquify, giving the illusion of pond plants.
Only one Chaos slime has been discovered, and only as a gordo. This slime has been spotted in multiple places, though how it has moved has yet to be discovered. It was at first believed to be multiple slimes, until testing was done.
Fluff slimes have the unique ability- like their name implies- to fluff up, floating into the air like balloons. Many a new rancher have had their fluff slimes escape because they forgot to put a top on their coral. These slimes are also seen in large flocks out in the wild, and upon being startled, will all rise into the air in tandem.
