May I request a TFPRatchet x TFPSGSoundwave scenario or headcanons?? They're an otp of mine but I haven't seen much of anything for them--

TFP Ratchet + TFPSG Soundwave. 

I had a lot of trouble finding the artist or source for this piece, but I think they capture SG Soundwave perfectly. It's beautiful! (If you know the artist please send me their link so I can share that or just use it instead!)

They likely found each other during a mishap with the space bridge, when SG Soundwave was somehow created or summoned by another crossed bridge made by the escaping TFP Soundwave. 

Ratchet was exceptionally distrustful of the mech at first. While this Soundy's colors were totally different, his movements and voice were identical to the evil Soundwave and it made him dubious. This whole alternate dimension thing sounded like something the Decepticons would pull. 

That's the kicker, though - SG Soundy either never took a vow of silence or gave up on it once he realized his voice could be used for good. So he talks to Ratchet and the other bots all the time. 

This Soundwave appears kind, forgiving, patient, loyal, and a complete goofball. (TFP Soundwave can be these things, but the difference is that TFP Soundy is loyal to the Decepticon cause because he is 100% loyal Megatron, while SG Soundy is loyal to the cause only because it is the right thing to do)

Despite their rocky first encounter, SG Soundy is understanding of Ratchet's mistrust. He likes Ratchet from the start and does everything he can to prove to the medic that he wants to help. 

It takes a while- months of effort until SG Soundy actually risks his own life to help Ratchet. That's when the medic knows that he's genuine and starts to trust him.

He's a valuable asset to Team Prime off the bat, since he gives them access to all the same skills the Decepticon's possess. He's also a great fighter since he was trained by SG Megatron.

SG Soundy is a genius when it comes to technology. Ratchet and Raf are both floored by how quickly he can improve the base's computer.

He loves to rock out with Miko, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack. He's a very talented musician in his own right and can play any Cybertronian instrument.

SG Soundy surprisingly has all of his minibots with him. They quickly discover that Ratchet and Soundy like each other and set out to set them up in increasingly stupid ways. 

He still prefers to wear his visor, but he's comfortable enough around Ratchet to occasionally take it off. Ratchet is secretly floored to learn that he's actually quite handsome. 

SG Soundy loves to make Ratchet laugh, but he's also one of the few mech's that understand Ratchet's need for peace and quiet. They can sit together for long periods of time and not say a single word to each other.

Ratchet also appreciates his curiosity. SG Soundwave actually enjoys listening to his explanations and the two can have long scientific discussions that stretch into the night.

Doesn't mean he isn't also an idiot, too. Him and Bee often joke around and pull pranks on Smokescreen or Ultra Magnus just to get a rise out of them.

They end up accidentally sabotaging both mech's (admittedly stupid) plans to ask each other out. Ratchet is stubborn and obtuse and SG Soundy flusters easily despite his charming nature.

It works out in the end when SG Ravage finally forces Soundy to tell Ratchet his feelings.
