As you all can see, I went on an adventure the other day in Redmond, WA. How did I end up here? Long story! Lets keep it short, yes?
I decided to tag a long with a friend of mine to do my own thing while he work. Its been awhile since I went out on my own, so you can imagine how nervous I was. I was in a strange place, in a strange town by myself! But lucky for me, he worked at a mini outdoor mall surrounded by cute boutiques, cafes, and restaurants.
The first store I visited was called Charming Charlie! I've never heard of this place before but it was a cute shop. They sold all sorts of jewelry, accessories and a few pieces of clothing here and there. I ended up buying a maxi dress, a set of gold and silver rings, and lastly a cross necklace.
From there I grew hungry so I decided to eat at a Korean Restaurant called Stone Korea. It was a good 10 minute walk in the scorching hot sun, but hey, their lemonade hit the spot! Not to mention the server was this tall, gorgeous, light brown eyed Korean man by the name of Andrew. He saw that I was eating alone so he constantly checked up on me, making sure I was well fed and satisfied.
From there I walked back to a Starbucks and TRIED to focus on this blog... I got as far as Facebook and stopped.
I didn't realize how much control I had on my life until that day. Wherever I wanted to go, I went, whatever I wanted, I bought... I have control of my life. I can choose to dislike something and HAVE the power to change it. So can you. Don't underestimate how much control you have in your life. The reason why most of us fail is due to lack of discipline! I can let you know that I lack that a lot so you're not alone.
I believe most of us lack discipline because we don't really have an action plan set up to help us achieve our goals. If you have the time to read this blog, then I'm sure you can take a few moments to think of what you really want, then come up with an action plan to get the task done. Life is a process, life is about trial and errors, life is ABOUT the journey.
