Movie Review: Jeepers Creepers 3
“Every 23rd spring, for 23 days it gets to eat.”
So what does it get to eat exactly? Well it gets to eat us.
The antagonist of this movie franchise is an ancient demon-like creature, known as “the Creeper,” that eat human body parts, which then form parts of its own body when regeneration is needed.
I was 10 years old when I was first introduced to this creature in the horror film Jeepers Creepers. Flash forward 2 years later and I am 12 when the Creeper returns in Jeepers Creepers 2. The Creeper has been in my life for 16 years, so you could say that I was pretty excited when I heard rumors that my favorite creature was returning.
Saturday Night:
Syfy premieres the third installment. YESSSSS!! Jeepers Creepers 3!
My sisters DVRs it and we watch it a few hours after it airs.
One word I can use to describe what I felt after...no within the first 20 minutes of the movie. Disappointment.
There was no story at all. To me it seems like a bunch of scene takes edited together and labeled a movie. There was nothing that connected the scenes together.
I am the type of movie watcher that feels obligated to finish watching a film to the very end in hopes that the beginning is the only flaw. Nope the only flaw here was the movie in its entirety. It was so boring I almost fell asleep 25 minutes into this so called horror movie. I mean I could have forgiven many things such as the atrocious CGI and slow-motion effects for a good (at least decent) story line.
I am sorry but it’s a bad movie.
Overall I am giving this “film” a 1.5 out of 10.
