Rating my blorbos by how they'd react to me whining about having to do the dishes
Jack Abbot, green-flag-personified
Would not stand for it. Did he just work a 12-hour shift that turned into 16 hours? Yes. Is his residual limp killing him? Yes. Has he eaten at all today? No. Will he drag the bar stool to the sink to do the dishes for me? also yes. I'd stand next to him very awkwardly until it's done.
7/10, very sweet, would feel bad. I was just venting, not expecting him to do it for me. Would not vent ever again.
Pope Cody
I would never touch a dish. Never. He'd keep my apartment spotless to the point it starts to be concerning. Because I'm pretty sure I didn't make my bed before leaving and there were clothes thrown over my chair? Popey, did you break into my place again?
9/10, I wish he'd chill sometimes. The fork I used for my dog's wet food can stay in the sink overnight, sweetheart, it's okay, come to bed 🥺
Titus Danforth
'Why are you touching dishes?'
He has staff for that kind of thing. Would not know what to do with a sponge and dish soap. Still wouldn't stand for my nails getting ruined.
But I'd make him do the dishes. That pathetic manchild needs to be humbled. He also needs to feel useful and competent and fucking up the dishes is, not impossible, but pretty hard. He'd bitch and moan the entire time like the pathetic loser he is, but cooing at him how he is your saviour and how grateful you are and what a big, strong man taking care of and providing for his woman he is would fix his attitude real quick.
He'd expect sex after.
Lots of it. A disproportionally big reward for the labour he put in, but he's secretly obsessed. Sex he feels like he earned is just so much better.
10/10, no notes

Disappointed-are you fucking serious-glare of death. Maybe a condescending 'do you want me to do them for you?' I would decline, of course, I was just whining after all, but he'd get up with a great big sigh anyway and push me aside. 'no, no, I'll do them. It's not like I just came back from the hospital or anything, but it's fine.' It's not fine. He's a big, stinky, therapy-needing old man.
-5/10 would be close to tears, but my toxic ass would forgive him. He brings the beard and sexy belly after all.
Tom Mason
He'd comfort me that doing the dishes does suck and immediately take it upon himself to do them while I sit on the counter looking pretty and he tells me something random about the American Revolutionary War that I don't care about. Would annoy him by intercepting his lecture with Hamilton quotes.
10/10, as perfect as the man himself
Severus Snape
Oh boy.
Depends on his mood, honestly. If it's the summer or after the war, he'd be amused by it, I think (I'm awfully cute), and he'd just remind me that magic exists and takes care of it for me.
During the war? Get ready for a snide, condescending comment and the magic fixing all my problems.
10/10, he's hot when he's mean.
Voldemort
I wouldn't.
0/10, unsupportive ass
Adar
Everyone has to earn their keep, but when he realises just how much I despise doing dishes, he'd find a different way for me to contribute. I'd like to play with Uruk children, please, but I can cook and sew too. I'd spin wool for hours, no problem.
If we're travelling alone for some reason, he'd do the dishes. He'd hunt rabbits and prepare them somewhere where I don't have to see it, even though he finds it weird I don't want to see cute, fluffy rabbits dying and being skinned 🥺and after I cooked and we'd eaten, he'd take the dishes from me and tell me to lie down and rest while he takes care of them.
15/10, the original daddy dom, no need would ever be unmet.
thank you for coming to my ted talk
