Halloween hcs because it's nearly time!!

— Mole is very easily scared by decorations.

— Unfortunately for him, Toad is the most lavish decorator ever. It's like a haunted maze up his front drive to even get to the door to trick or treat.

— Badger tells old ghost stories whilst sat by the fireplace, nice and cosy. He likes to dress as Bela Lugosi’s Dracula for Halloween

— It’s Toad’s mission to have the best costume, and get the most sweets. Every. Single. Year. No matter how old he is. He won't ever stop trick or treating

— Ratty takes Portia round, Mrs Otter is handing out sweets

— The fieldmice are all very easily spooked. The Wild Wooders are not very nice about it.

— Speaking of the Wild Wooders, they don't need to decorate. But they do anyway. They hang tattered strips of fabric to trees, so when the wind blows in the dark, it feels like you're brushing up against something

— The Swallows don't do Halloween, they're off somewhere sunnier, relaxing
