I love reading up on D&D lore before I play a character in BG3. I'm replaying my Drow Paladin playthrough with my newly acquired research of Drow and let me tell you it's an experience.

Like... Drow get a type of heat vision, canonically.

Which, let me tell you, really enhances some of my screenshots. Is Rauva scowling because she doesn't agree with Raphael-

I'm reading the drow wiki page to prepare for some potential BG3 fic for my Drow Paladin. There is a lot to unpack there (I knew that the Drow were terrible but dear reader my imagination was severely limited), but this took me out unexpectantly:

Are you telling me that Rauva, who has only had contact with people who wouldn't bat an eye at this, is going to experience a massive culture clash with the party at the first camp dinner? Is Gale going to turn away from the camp stove and catch her snacking on a wriggling fish that was meant for dinner like this

This ONLY makes her even more of a weirdo cryptid. I'm obsessed.
