Yo there, I was looking through the seapunk tag (I look sometimes because occasionally there are cool images...) and saw the ask about Wave Rave. For reference Wave Rave was something my mate invented some time last year as a kick back to Seapunk (there appear to be a lot of Seapunk kickbacks actually). We create a FB group called Wave Rave in which we used to troll seapunk constantly for like 3 months. Funnily enough the term was then used by lil internet....

Rave Wave

I was at a free outdoor rave last weekend. What the hell happened to the rave scene? I basically just stood and watched from afar. The people that attend these parties are so foul. They have no respect for their environment, other ravers, or how much work gets put into throwing a rave. They're simply there for the drugs. I laughed pretty hard when the party got busted at about 1am. Suckersssss. Anyway, I guess I'm just really disappointed. I used to love going to raves. The vibes and music always could lift my spirit. Sure, I may be jaded, but I feel like I'm seeing the rave community in the proper light for the first time.

So much has happened this past week. It's seems that I'm finally enjoying summer!

Although I'm still longing for school again, I think the last month of summer will be great.
