You know that feeling when you copy and paste an email 35 times to the same person because you are protesting something for your whole student body??? Except that now it is rumored that the thing you are protesting has a reasonable explanation and does not have to do with money-grubbing trolls in suits, and you don’t know what the fuck to do because it’s a good one??? A worry I have

...that I am constructing my life in such a way that I remain relatively "safe" and physically healthy, but in doing so miss out both on opportunities to help others and to experience real depth in life. Not that I don't have deep experiences but like - I have a lot of over-analyzey thought processes, and I am very good at thinking of all the ways a given thing could be dangerous or damaging. When I go to help someone else, I always figure it wouldn't do to destroy myself in the process, but I am realizing that the chances of doing that are probably lower than I typically think. Not sure what to do about this, but I am working on it.

I'm in a lecture and it's 3 hours long, so, we get a break. During this break a bunch of other students and the professor were discussing eyebrow shaping techniques. So, they are talking about how they do their eyebrows and I feel a little left out because I barely have eyebrows. So I interject that " eyebrows are the easiest way to identify a face, using the fusiform gyrus." Everyone in the room stopped, gave me that look, then returned to their regular lives.

Stress

So I just got done doing a comprehensive analytical statistical analysis over every fucking country for my class that took me 7 hours to do. I’m pretty sure I fucked it up pretty well. And now I’m on the edge of breaking down and hating myself because this means ill probably get a B in this class. I know that doesn’t seem too bad, but when grades are really all you have, it really hurts. Ugh life.
