"Kiss me. Kiss me like you mean it." (I feel like I'm spamming you with asks, but I can't help it lol)
What they had fallen into, living together, hunting together, soaking up the moments of gentleness and vulnerability each showed; it was so new. To have someone to wake up to, to feel safe and happy with, emotions that had been in the city of broken people. Whatever had them together, Kayden was grateful for it. Outside of the pain and the guilt, there was Aiden; strong, solid, fierce and terrifyingly beautiful. And Kayden loved her.
The request that fell from Aiden caught her off guard for a moment, so lost in her thoughts as she carefully watched them slowly get ready for the day. Leaving their bed, she took Aidens’ hands in her own, kissing her knuckles and both palms before placing their hands on her hips. Cradling Aidens’ cheek, her right hand softly slipped from her cheek to rest on her throat.
Capturing Aiden in a fierce kiss, Kayden picked her up and fell onto the bed with them pinned underneath her. Holding one of Aidens’ hands in hers, above their heads, the silk sheets felt so cold in contrast to the burning passion that Aiden ignited with those words. Only pulling away when her lungs burned with the need for air, she moved to kiss down Aidens’ neck, leaving small hickeys as she went until there was no more bare skin for her to mark.
Gently, Kayden kissed each mark, her left hand slipping under Aidens’ shirt, the need to feel more of them driving her even when she tried to calm her racing heart that wanted to do so much more than kiss. Sweetly, she captured their lips in her own again, her affection softer this time, but no less earnest or ardent.
Resting her forehead against Aidens’, she nuzzled her nose against theirs. “I’ll kiss you as many times you want. I want you. I love you.”
