I think ravens are the best. I'm seriously serious.
Not only do they have INCREDIBLE symbolism and lore behind them but they hold a real personal meaning for me.
One example: there's a legend about this young Scottish prince named Seamus who drinks from the skull of a raven as a baby and can speak the language of the birds. Long story short, he gets kicked out and returns home years later wiser and loved by his father. It's actually where I chose my name.
So, yeah. Ravens. Just really cool birds.
