Ayyy in my au Legs uncle (I wanna say his name is something like Alfon? But idk lol) didn't die in the first game since while zel was young she was 18 at the start of alttp so he wasn't compelled to take over, also she was already in the castle lol.
So then! By albw, he basically adopts Ravio becuase hey he's always wanted a son and Ravio needed a home-
Also! He was the main knight tasked with looking after the kids and link grew especially close to him.
And during albw when the castle has been taken over again, link is seeking shelter with him and becomes great friends with Ravio, helping him run the store!
So! Even after the adventure link still spends a lot of time at Alfons house/ravs shop lol
