Raw Balls Workshop

Ball made from butter.
Raw balls. Simple, clean, no bake...and a little bit cheeky. Get your chocolate fix with this healthy snack!
All you need: 1 cup Raisins 1 cup Nuts (I used Cashews and Walnuts) 1/3 cup Cacao Powder 1/3 cup Coconut Oil 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
+ Shredded Coconut
Firsty, you need to soak your raisins for 20 minutes in warm water. So pop them in a bowl whilst you prep your other ingredients.
Choose your nuts; I used cashews and walnuts but any kind nuts will do! Put 1 cup's worth in a bowl and add your coconut oil and cacao powder. If your coconut oil is anything like mine, it will be solid. So make sure you melt the oil before measuring out 1/3 of a cup and adding it to the mixture!
Make sure you add your 1tbsp of chia seeds! After you raisins have soaked, pop them in a blender with your mixture and BLEND!
Using the palms of your hands, roll little bitesize balls out the mixture; this recipe should make about 10. You can then roll each one onto a surface covered with shredded coconut.
And there you are; your very own RAW BALLS. (It never gets old.)
