Rawbots is a new game being developed by an independent team in San Francisco in which you can design and program your own little robots and then set them loose to explore a virtual universe. This could be a valuable learning experience to teach young roboticists all the ways in which their creations can go rouge and destroy the world.

So I picked up this game called Rawbots. It's a sandbox building game where you put together and program your own robots for various things! This is the first thing I built and programmed from the ground up - A stationary turret with a camera that rotates along with the turret, including rotating sideways so that it'll always stay level (You'll see what I mean when you watch the video).

Normally it's 30 dollars but there was (And probably still is) a deal right now due to Sim City's disastrous release day - If you enter the coupon code "SIMCITY" at checkout, you should be able to get early access to the game (Including the pre-alpha, which I'm playing right now) for free!

I don't think the devs have anything to do with SimCity, they just felt bad that so many players got jipped by EA and wanted to offer their own game for free for a short while. I hopped on board as soon as I heard about it and I don't regret it (But I will definitely throw money at them soon)
